Area Sales Manager - Ireland

Purpose of role:

To generate the maximum volume of profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets and by making new and existing customers aware of the company’s product range and presence.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a weekly diary of appointments/activities within the Salesforce CRM System;
  • Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers;
  • Work closely with our exclusive distributors to increase our business through an agreed pricing strategy
  • Visit specifiers on a regular basis, ensuring that they are updated on new products and are conversant with our product range and capabilities. As appropriate visit the site. Follow projects through from placement to completion of order;
  • Provide an after-sales service, keeping in contact with the Specifier and Customer Support to ensure that if any problems arise, they are dealt with speedily;

Purpose of role:

To generate the maximum amount of profitable sales through the achievement of order intake and sales targets, motivating customer commitment, adherence to agreed KPI’s, building value additive relationships with customers and by making customers aware of the company’s product portfolio within your given area.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Identify and exploit sales opportunities with existing and potential customers within your area
  • Communicate and visit customers on a regular basis ensuring they are updated on new products and conversant with our product capabilities for the Rail sector. As appropriate visit site following all necessary H&S requirements specific to the site
  • Follow projects through from initial discovery to placement and completion of order
  • Monitor and keep customer accounts and opportunities updated regularly ensuring key data such as forecast dates, values and commercial information using CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Maintain a weekly diary of appointment/activities against the opportunities using Salesforce portal
  • Provide an aftersales service, keeping in contact with the specifier, order placer and DWW support team to ensure that if any issues arise, they are dealt with in a timely, commercial and professional manner
