Structural tests

Eddy current test
Detects subsurface defects in rooted steel columns, assessing integrity up to 400mm below ground to identify corrosion or material loss.
Ultrasonic test

Crack test
Identifies surface and sub-surface cracks in welds and joints, ensuring critical areas remain structurally sound with minimal access required
Electrical tests
Visual inspection

Continuity test
Verifies circuit integrity by calculating resistance (R1+R2) to ensure proper electrical safety and performance.
Polarity test
Ensures correct wiring connections to prevent faults, verifying that live, neutral, and earth conductors are properly installed.
Loop test
Measures fault path resistance, helping calculate short circuit current and ensuring the column’s protective earthing is effective.
