Leading exterior lighting solutions provider, the DW Windsor Group, is pleased to announce the launch of its latest product innovation, Fira. A joint venture between Group members DW Windsor and Pulsar, the luminaire range sets new standards for external illumination thanks to a host of monochromatic and dynamic LED light sources, including RGBW, RGBA and Tunable White, plus market-leading performance and superior quality of light.
Featuring an elegant, geometric design and compact size, Fira incorporates state-of-the-art LED technology and precision optics to deliver high-quality illumination with precisely controlled beams and excellent uniformity. The series comprises three models, Fira, Fira Pro and Fira Ultra, designed to address a number of lighting challenges, from highlighting architectural features to the illumination of public spaces.
Developed specifically for outdoor applications, the range has been engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions whilst enduring some of the world’s most challenging environments. Constructed from high pressure die-cast LM6 aluminium with a polyester powder-coated finish, Fira is rated IP66 and features IK09 toughened glass, offering specifiers peace of mind that the luminaire will continue to perform year after year.
Advanced features further enhance Fira’s usability and performance. This includes Cool Zone™ technology, which draws air through the fixture to aid cooling and increase performance, helping to deliver an LED lifetime of 100,000 hours. Fira Pro and Fira Ultra also incorporate Pulsar’s proprietary LuxRAMP™ technology, which boosts the power sent to individual LED channels to maximise light output.
Other features include a Bluetooth wireless control option for Fira, plus an array of beam distributions from narrow spots to wide floods. The range also supports several mounting options, including floor, wall, and ceiling locations, allowing Fira to integrate seamlessly into architectural spaces. Multiple column-mounted solutions can also be configured to help bring public spaces to life.
Discussing the product launch, Terry Dean, DW Windsor Group CEO, said: “Fira represents the first collaboration between these two brands since the DW Windsor Group acquired Pulsar in 2020. We’ve brought together the technical expertise from both companies to develop a cohesive range of products designed to enhance urban locations.
“Both companies have a long history of delivering high-quality lighting solutions to the global specification market. With advanced features and exceptional performance, Fira is set to raise the bar for external lighting.”
