British lighting manufacturer underlines commitment to supporting lighting specifiers after signing agreement with leading software provider
DW Windsor, a leading provider of outdoor lighting solutions, is pleased to report that its photometry files will remain accessible to customers in DIALux evo, the industry-standard software for lighting design.
The announcement comes after changes to DIALux’s pricing structure on 1 March 2024 restricted the availability of photometry files on the platform. This meant that lighting designers could no longer access non-member files within the software from this date without a paid subscription.
At DW Windsor, we’re committed to supporting our customers and empowering designers to bring their visions to life without constraints. By maintaining access to our photometry files in DIALux evo, we’re pleased to continue supporting lighting design practices of all sizes—from individual designers to large-scale consultancies—without the financial burden these changes to the platform might bring.
By joining DIALux as a Bronze Member, DW Windsor has ensured that its photometry files can continue to be imported into the software, enabling specifiers across the UK and Europe to continue designing schemes within the system using their luminaires at no extra cost.
“At DW Windsor, we’re committed to supporting our customers and empowering designers to bring their visions to life without constraints,” commented Michael Walker, Senior Applications Engineer at DW Windsor.

DW Windsor is happy to confirm that designers can also import files from our UK distribution partners, Ligman and Focus Lighting, who are registered members of the DIALux platform.
